Links à la Mode: Fashion Spotlight: 2009
As 2009 comes to an end, lets take a trip back down memory lane and look back on some the fashion trends of '09.
The Maxi Dress
They were everywhere this year, whether it be on the beach or on red carpets and school formals.
Chain bags
Giving us a break from lugging around our oversized bags, these bags could be slung on our shoulders keeping our hands free. As you can note a lot of the bags were also quilted.
Big shoulders and harem pants
Whether you loved it or hated it, both made a comeback in 2009.
Zip, Stud and Fringe Detail
Personally I still can't get enough of studded anything.
Going backless
Not only limited to dresses but shirts and bodysuits also had the back cutout this year.

ReplyDeleteGreat post! I hope the classy chained quilted bag continues on into 2010.
ReplyDeleteKrys don't worry i'm too vertically challenged to rock the maxi as well...but we can still admire them. And yes I'm still going to be wearing the chained quilted bag in 2010
ReplyDeleteI never even realised the chain bag trend until it was pointed out to me

warehouse sales are the best! unless they take an evil turn... but your advice is great... to be nice ;) sometimes people just forget about everyone around them and that it's not the end of the world if they don't get a certain item!Forum Link Building serviceUebersetzung Deutsch Japanisch

ReplyDeleteweb design agencychauffeur cars sydneyThere is also a side room where things have been sorted and priced individually but I found it pretty pricey (but was stuff like furs and leather). I think this store is maybe not the best for op shopping newbies but I would recommend it for anyone with sewing abilities, those a little creative with their style and hardcore bargain hunters.
