I'm drowning in assignments so just a quick post; a few of the celeb looks from the Golden Slipper on Saturday. This race isn't as known for it's fashion as the Melbourne Cup is but that doesn't mean fashion is absent, as you can see from the images below. From the looks of it most of the major celebs kept it low key (especially in comparison to the more quirkier outfits sported by regular punters) and most stuck to the classic black and white combo.
Jennifer Hawkins: Kept it simple ( and a little boring) in a one shoulder LBD, adding a touch of colour with the pink clutch.
Laura Dundovic: My favourite, cute and fun. A little bit 50s with the fuller skirt and polka dots
Rebecca Twigley: Don't hate it, don't rate it
Rachel Finch: Not a fan of the print on the fabric, looks like a doona cover.

ReplyDeleteI actually really like Rachel Finch's outfit, the hat is really cute and I like the dress too. It's more like what I would wear, although Laura's is definitely the most 'race day' sort of look! you couldn't really wear that anywhere else.
